What we compared
We use the warranty length each maker states, in years. We do not have terms such as what is covered, whether the battery is included or what happens on a replacement, so treat the years as a starting point and read the maker's warranty page before buying. Prices are as of November 8, 2026.
Warranty counts in our overall ranking, where it carries 20% of the score. Models with no stated warranty cannot be scored on it.

How to use these numbers
Start with the years, then ask what a year costs. A three-year warranty on a $679 Anthbot M5 works out to about $226 of purchase price per year of coverage. A one-year warranty on the $999.99 Ecovacs GOAT O1000 RTK works out to $999.99 per year. That is simple arithmetic on stated figures, not a measure of reliability. A longer warranty tells you what the maker is willing to cover, not how often a mower fails.
Also check who handles a claim. Several makers sell mainly through their own online stores, so a claim goes to the maker, not a local dealer. Read the warranty page for the process, the battery terms and any registration step before you order.
What the pattern says
Three years is the norm among Anthbot, Navimow, Dreame and Mammotion, so the warranty rarely separates those brands. The gap is at the other end. Ecovacs states one year across its range, even on the $2,499.99 A3000 LiDAR PRO, while a $679 Anthbot M5 states three. If you buy on price per year of coverage, that difference counts.
Warranty length is one factor among several. Pair it with area, slope and noise before you decide; the buying guide walks through the order.
