Our verdict

It is $1,100.99 below the typical RTK plus camera mower, $1,799.99 (median of 25). At $2,796 per acre it is about 13% below that type's $3,196 typical. It ranks #8 overall, #2 under $1,500, #3 on RTK, #5 for quiet (58 dB) and #10 for hills.

Against the M5 at $679, it doubles the stated area for $20 and adds a 90 Wh battery and 90 minutes of runtime. The Anthbot Genie 1000 is $799 with the same 0.25 acre and 120 minutes, but it needs an antenna; the M9 listing does not state that. The Navimow i206 AWD is $899 for 0.15 acre with AWD and no antenna.

At 45% the slope limit is moderate. The Dreame A3 AWD 1000 offers 80% for $1,399.99. The M9 weighs 22.3 pounds.

Choose it for a quarter acre on a budget. Skip it for steep ground. Anthbot is the only seller.
