Ranking
9 models, best first. Each bar compares a model with the rest of this list: the best on every point would score 100.
Scores reward a low price, a big lawn size, steep slope ratings and long warranties, all as the makers state them. They don't measure how well a mower maps, avoids obstacles or handles your lawn, so use them to shortlist, then read the model pages.

How the score works
Weights: max slope 35, lowest price 25, max lawn size 25, warranty 15
Weights
- 35
Max slope, higher is better.
- 25
Lowest price, lower is better.
- 25
Max lawn size, higher is better.
- 15
Warranty, higher is better.
Steps
- 1
Each criterion is scaled from 0, the worst of these 9 models, to 1, the best. For lowest price, lower is better, so the lowest value scores 1.
- 2
Each scaled value is multiplied by its weight, and the results are added up to a score out of 100. Models with the same score share a rank.
- 3
A model is ranked only if it has its own page here and a value for every criterion (all-wheel drive Yes).
Who is ranked
This list covers all-wheel drive robot mowers, which power every wheel for better grip on slopes and wet grass. Nine models qualify, from $899 to $2,799.99. Each also needs a stated mowing area, a stated maximum slope, a current price and a warranty in years. Slope carries the most weight, then price and area at equal weight, then warranty. Slope is the maker's stated maximum, not a tested result.
What stands out
Dreame and Mammotion hold the top six places, and all six are rated for 80 percent slopes. The Dreame A3 AWD Pro 5000 ranks first at $2,799.99 with 1.2 acres of area. The Dreame A3 AWD 2000 is two points behind at $1,699.99 for 0.5 acres. The Dreame A3 AWD 1000 is the cheapest of the six at $1,399.99.
The Mammotion LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500H is fifth at $1,799, and the LUBA 3 AWD 3000 is sixth at $2,799 with 0.75 acres. The cheaper all-wheel drive options are the Segway Navimow i206 AWD at $899 and i210 AWD at $1,099, both rated for 45 percent slopes. The Sunseeker X5 ties them on score at $1,499.99 with a 60 percent rating.
How to use this list
AWD matters most on steep or uneven ground. On a flat lawn it adds cost without much benefit. Our guide to robot mowers on slopes explains how slope ratings work, and the hills ranking weights slope even more heavily.
