Ranking
9 models, best first. Each bar compares a model with the rest of this list: the best on every point would score 100.
Scores reward a low price, a big lawn size, steep slope ratings and long warranties, all as the makers state them. They don't measure how well a mower maps, avoids obstacles or handles your lawn, so use them to shortlist, then read the model pages.

How the score works
Weights: lowest price 30, max lawn size 25, max slope 25, warranty 20
Weights
- 30
Lowest price, lower is better.
- 25
Max lawn size, higher is better.
- 25
Max slope, higher is better.
- 20
Warranty, higher is better.
Steps
- 1
Each criterion is scaled from 0, the worst of these 9 models, to 1, the best. For lowest price, lower is better, so the lowest value scores 1.
- 2
Each scaled value is multiplied by its weight, and the results are added up to a score out of 100. Models with the same score share a rank.
- 3
A model is ranked only if it has its own page here and a value for every criterion (needs rtk antenna No).
Who is ranked
This list covers models whose maker says they need no separate RTK base station or antenna. Nine models qualify, from $899 to $2,799.99. Each also needs a stated mowing area, a stated maximum slope, a current price and a warranty in years. Models without a warranty or area figure in the data, such as the Worx Landroid Vision Cloud series and the eufy E15, are not ranked. Price carries the most weight, then area and slope at equal weight, then warranty. Slope is the maker's stated maximum, not a tested result.
What stands out
Dreame takes four of the top five places. The Dreame A3 AWD 2000 ranks first at $1,699.99, and the A3 AWD 1000 follows at $1,399.99. Both use LiDAR, which scans the yard with a laser and needs no sky view. The Pro 5000 ties for second and covers 1.2 acres. The Mammotion LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500H is fifth at $1,799.
The cheapest options are the Segway Navimow i206 AWD at $899 and the i210 AWD at $1,099. Both use RTK GPS with a camera, but Navimow states that they need no antenna. The Anthbot M5 LiDAR is $949 for small lawns of 0.12 acres.
How to use this list
No antenna means one less item to mount and power, but it does not mean the mower ignores satellites or sensors. Read how each model navigates in our guide to RTK vs LiDAR vs camera robot mowers. To skip RTK altogether, see the LiDAR list. The installation guide covers setup, and our guide to robot mowers without a boundary wire covers wire-free setup.
